How to dry pitaya in a dehydrator?

1. Dragon fruit washed and sliced
Select fresh, half-ripe (still firm) fleshy red dragon fruit with no lesions, wash, peel and slice, and cut the dragon fruit into slices with a thickness of 0.6-1cm.
2. Dragon fruit slices for color protection, hardening and blanching
Use a blanching machine to protect the color of the dragon fruit slices, subject to removing the hardened and blanched residue.
3. Remove itching throat and vacuum sugar stains.
If dragon fruit is not treated properly, the more itchy throat will affect the taste of preserved dragon fruit.
4. Drying
The first stage: the temperature is set at 60°C, the humidity is set at 35%, the mode is drying + dehumidification, and the baking time is 2 hours;
The second stage: the temperature is 65 °C, the humidity is set to 25%, the mode is selected to dry + dehumidification, and the baking is about 8 hours;
The first stage: the temperature is raised to 70°C, the humidity is set to 15%, the mode is drying + dehumidification, and the baking time is 8 hours
The fourth stage: the temperature is set to 60°C, the humidity is set to 10%, and the continuous dehumidification mode is baked for about 1 hour.
5. Finished package
After drying, it can be packaged into bags when it is softened. Note that it should be sealed and stored in a cool place.
