How to dry Ginger in a dehydrator?
by Baixin Machinery Directions:
1.Washing and peeling machine:Wash the ginger and remove impurities from the skin if any
2.Slicing machine:Slice the ginger, making slices between 3-5mm thick. Try to make the pieces the same in both size and thickness to ensure uniform drying.
3.Dryer machine:
Place on trays of Baixin heat pump tray dryer- Dry at 40℃-75℃for 10-18 hrs.
Place on feeding conveyor of Baixin Continuous mesh belt dryer - Dry at 75℃-110℃ for 2-3 hrs.
4.Air cooling machine:Check by cooling a few samples of your ginger crips to room temperature.
5.Grinder:make ginger powder
After drying,dried ginger slice need to be sealed or vacuum packed to better protect their color and flavor.Otherwise,it is east to regain moisture.
